1. Website owner and contact

The website pic.cy is owned and operated by S. Rezu, acting as a private individual.

For questions, complaints, abuse reports, privacy requests, or removal requests, contact: info@pic.cy.

2. What pic.cy does

pic.cy is a simple tool that turns text entered by a user into an image link. When someone opens or shares a pic.cy URL, the service may generate and show an image based on the words in that URL.

The service is provided for casual, creative, personal and social sharing. It is not intended for confidential communication, identity verification, financial advice, medical advice, legal advice, or any emergency use.

3. Public nature of generated links

Links created with pic.cy are public. Anyone who has the link may be able to view the text and the generated image. Do not enter secrets, passwords, private addresses, phone numbers, personal documents, private photos, payment details, or any other sensitive information.

Generated images and related files may be cached by pic.cy and by third-party platforms where the link is shared.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for the text you put into a pic.cy link and for how you use or share the generated image. By using the service, you agree not to use pic.cy for content or activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or misleading.

5. Prohibited content and behavior

You must not use pic.cy to create, host, share, promote, or link to content that includes or supports:

  • illegal content or illegal activity;
  • threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation;
  • hate, dehumanization, or calls for violence against protected or vulnerable groups;
  • sexual content involving minors or any exploitation of minors;
  • non-consensual intimate content or sexual harassment;
  • impersonation, fraud, phishing, scams, or misleading claims;
  • spam, mass abuse, automated scraping, or attempts to overload the service;
  • malware, malicious links, or attempts to bypass security limits;
  • private personal data of other people without permission;
  • copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property infringement.

6. Moderation and removal

We may remove, block, disable, or stop serving any link, image, text, file, or request at any time if we believe it violates these terms, creates legal risk, harms others, abuses the service, or creates operational problems.

To request removal, email info@pic.cy and include the exact pic.cy URL, the reason for the request, and any context that helps us review it.

7. Intellectual property

The pic.cy name, logo, website design, code, and generated layout system belong to the site owner or respective rights holders. You may share links and generated images created by the service for normal personal and social use, provided your use is lawful and does not violate the rights of others.

You must not remove ownership notices, copy the service as a competing product, or use the pic.cy brand in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

8. Privacy Policy

pic.cy does not require accounts and does not ask users to provide a name, email address, or password to create an image link.

When the service is used, technical data may be processed and stored for security, debugging, abuse prevention, analytics, and service operation. This may include the requested URL/path, generated text derived from the URL, image identifier, date and time, IP address, user-agent, referrer, crawler type, and basic event data such as page views.

Generated images and metadata may be stored so links keep working and load faster. Server logs and analytics records may be retained as long as reasonably needed for operation, security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use targeted advertising on pic.cy. If you use a browser Global Privacy Control signal, pic.cy treats it as an opt-out and does not load optional analytics unless you later choose to allow analytics.

9. Cookies, local storage and analytics

pic.cy uses necessary browser storage to remember your privacy choice and to keep the service working. Optional analytics is disabled by default and only loads if you press “Allow analytics”. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded by pic.cy.

Optional analytics, when allowed, uses Google tag / Google Analytics measurement ID G-XX30D7QGB2. It helps us understand basic usage such as page views and whether the site works correctly. Google may process technical information such as your browser, approximate location, page URL, referrer, and device data according to Google’s own terms and policies.

You can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer. You can also opt out immediately using .

10. GDPR / EEA and UK privacy rights

If GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

For optional analytics, the legal basis is consent. For security, abuse prevention, debugging, legal compliance, and keeping generated links working, the legal basis may be legitimate interests, contract/service necessity, or legal obligation, depending on the context.

To exercise rights, email info@pic.cy. We may need enough information to identify the URL, image, log entry, or request involved.

11. California / US privacy rights

pic.cy is operated by a private individual and may not be a “business” covered by every US state privacy law. Even so, we provide a simple way to request access, deletion, correction, or opt-out by emailing info@pic.cy.

California users may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive personal information use, and non-discrimination. pic.cy does not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The footer “Do Not Sell/Share” control disables optional analytics in this browser.

pic.cy is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us for removal.

12. Third-party services

When you share a pic.cy link on services such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Messenger, Viber, or other platforms, those platforms may fetch, cache, display, process, or store the link and generated image according to their own terms and privacy policies. pic.cy does not control those third-party services.

13. Necessary storage

pic.cy may use basic technical storage, browser features, or server-side logs needed to operate the service, remember generated files, prevent abuse, and understand whether pages work correctly. The service is designed to work without user accounts.

14. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that pic.cy will always be available, error-free, secure, compatible with every app, or suitable for any specific purpose. Social platforms may change how link previews work, and previews may appear differently across apps.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site owner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for any damages caused by user-generated content, third-party platforms, outages, preview caching, misuse of links, or reliance on generated images.

16. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the service, change features, block abusive traffic, remove content, or update this legal page from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page.
